Cristina D’Amelio has her Masters in Couple and Family Therapy from Drexel University, and received her Post Master’s in Special Education in Applied Behavior Analysis from the Pennsylvania State University. Previously, she was a Clinical Specialist at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia’s Children’s Intensive Emotional and Behavioral Program, she also worked as a Family Consultant at the Center for Autism and spent twelve years in a variety of homecare settings. Currently, she is a Behavior Analyst with Continuum Autism Spectrum Alliance, as well as a School Behavior Specialist with the Center for Regional Education Support Services. Her areas of interest include the teaching appropriate language and communication skills to change the need for disruptive behaviors, assessing behaviors for their “why” and creating interventions to address children’s areas of need, and positive discipline that works in home environments. Cristina is based in NJ and loves helping parents find joy in parenting. She is passionate about supporting positive growth in both parents and their children.
