Parents and Child Care Providers play a big role in teaching children how to make friends and get along with siblings.
Friend-making begins with positive play. How can we promote children to practice sharing, resolving conflict, turn-taking, and empathy? We will explore how helping young children manage emotions and work out disagreements helps to reduce sibling rivalry at home and promote friendship.
Self-regulation is key and can have life-long benefits. We will explore fun and creative ways to put it into practice at home or in school.

About this session

For who is it?

I usually have this session with parents of kids ages 3 to 7, but others are welcome to join too.

What is included?

We will have a one hour long Zoom video meeting. There’s plenty of time to ask questions and share experiences.

How does it work?

After registration you will receive a confirmation email with the Zoom meeting details. About 10 minutes before the session starts you will receive a reminder with the Zoom meeting details.

How will it help you?

You will come out of this session with clear strategies, proven techniques, practical tips and other insights that will help you and your family deal with screen time related struggles.

"Comments we received from his (Richard’s) sessions include “super helpful” “thank you for all the useful information” and “the best breakout session I attended. People enjoyed his presentations so much that they requested more time to cover the topic and requested he return to offer more trainings.” - Tristin Blalack

Do I need to attend with my partner?

That’s entirely up to you. Some families do and some families don’t. It is however recommended to share the things you’ll be learning with the other parent or caregivers in the household.

What if I’m not available on one of these dates?

We’ll probably run this Workshop again on different dates. Please email us at live@familyfive.app if you are interested and we’ll notify you once a new session is scheduled.

Can I also book 1-on-1 sessions with the Expert?

At the moment Family5 only offers Workshops for groups of people. We do this keep it affordable and accessible. However, you are free to ask the Expert for contact details and request 1-on-1 sessions. If the Expert is fully booked you can check out the Family5 Expert network for other available Experts or book another group session instead.
