About this session

This single session introduces you to the concept of Positive Discipline. I will give you a high level overview and some specific examples of how to apply the principles.

Who is it for?

This workshop is for parents of children ages 10 and below. Parents from all over the world are more than welcome to join.

What is included?

You will get a clear understanding of what Positive Discipline is and how the tools help navigate the everyday challenges of parenting and help you raise resilient, capable, independent and empathetic people.

How does it work?

After registration you will receive a confirmation email with the Zoom meeting details. You are requested to install the Zoom Video meeting application on your computer (recommended), phone or tablet. You can download their free software here: https://zoom.us/. About 10 minutes before the session starts you will receive a reminder with the Zoom meeting details.

About Julianne

Julianne is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker and skilled parent coach with over 10 years of experience working with children, adolescents and families. Julianne is a former teacher, a current school counselor and her most important job is being “mom”.
“Julianne relates to the challenges and “real life” aspects of parenting with positive discipline, as she practices the philosophy with her own children. Do I need to attend with my partner?

That’s entirely up to you. Some families do and some families don’t. It is however recommended to share the things you’ll be learning with the other parent or caregivers in the household.

What if I’m not available on one of these dates?

We’ll probably do this Workshop again on different dates. Please email us at live@familyfive.app if you are interested and we’ll notify you once a new session is scheduled.

Can I also book 1-on-1 sessions with the Expert?

At the moment Family5 only offers Workshops for groups of people. We do this keep it affordable and accessible. However, you are free to ask the Expert for contact details and request 1-on-1 sessions. If the Expert is fully booked you can check out the Family5 Expert network for other available Experts or book another group session instead.
